Refund, Return & Replacement Policy

Welcome to Van Rishi. Please read this Refund, Return & Replacement Policy carefully before placing an order through our website.

Van Rishi products are sold and fulfilled by Mangalam Organic. “Van Rishi” is a trademark currently under approval process and is being used for branding and sale of products.

By purchasing from our website, you acknowledge and agree to the terms mentioned below.


Nature of Product

Van Rishi sells traditionally prepared food products including A2 Gir Cow Ghee packed in glass containers.

As food products are consumable in nature, strict quality, hygiene, and verification standards apply to all return, refund, and replacement requests.


Eligibility for Refund or Replacement

Refunds or replacements shall only be considered in the following verified cases:

  • Wrong product delivered
  • Product received in physically damaged condition
  • Glass jar broken during transit
  • Product leakage caused during shipping
  • Tampered package received

All claims are subject to verification by Van Rishi.


Mandatory Unboxing Video Requirement

A complete and uninterrupted unboxing video is mandatory for ALL complaints, claims, refund requests, replacement requests, or damage reports.

The video must:

  • begin before opening the sealed package
  • clearly show the outer packaging
  • clearly display the shipping label
  • clearly capture the opening process
  • clearly show the issue or damage

Claims submitted without a proper continuous unboxing video may be rejected without further review.

This policy is implemented to prevent fraudulent claims and ensure fair resolution procedures.


No Return or Refund for Taste, Aroma, Texture, or Preference-Based Reasons

Due to the traditional and natural nature of our products, refunds or returns shall NOT be accepted for reasons including but not limited to:

  • personal taste preference
  • aroma preference
  • texture variation
  • grain formation variation
  • melted consistency during summer
  • color variation
  • change of mind
  • accidental orders
  • preference for another brand
  • delayed acceptance after delivery

Such characteristics are natural properties of authentic traditionally prepared Bilona A2 Gir Cow Ghee and do not qualify as defects.


Natural Seasonal Variation Disclaimer

Van Rishi A2 Gir Cow Ghee is free from stabilizers, artificial texture agents, synthetic preservatives, or industrial hardening additives.

As a result, natural variations may occur depending on:

  • climate
  • temperature
  • season
  • transportation conditions
  • milk composition

Customers may observe:

  • melted or semi-liquid texture during summer
  • variation in granules
  • slight differences in aroma
  • natural color differences between batches

These are natural characteristics of authentic traditional ghee and shall not be treated as product defects.


Replacement Preference Policy

Van Rishi reserves the right to provide a replacement product instead of monetary refund wherever applicable.

Replacement requests approved after verification shall generally be prioritized over refunds.


Return Approval Process

If a complaint is approved after verification:

  • the customer may be instructed to return the product
  • return pickup may be arranged by Van Rishi where applicable
  • return shipping expenses for approved cases shall be borne by Van Rishi

Returned products must:

  • remain substantially unused
  • include original packaging
  • include invoice or order details
  • be safely packed for transit

Van Rishi reserves the right to reject claims if returned products are found intentionally damaged, excessively used, tampered with, or inconsistent with the submitted complaint.


Inspection Before Refund or Replacement

All returned products are subject to internal inspection and verification before any refund or replacement approval.

Approval shall remain solely at the discretion of Van Rishi after product evaluation.


Refund Timeline

If a refund is approved after verification and inspection:

  • prepaid order refunds may take approximately 7–10 business days
  • COD order refunds may take approximately 7–10 business days after bank or UPI details are shared and verified

Actual timelines may vary depending on banking networks and payment gateways.


Refund Method

Refunds for prepaid orders shall be processed through the original payment method where technically feasible.

For Cash on Delivery (COD) orders:

  • refunds shall be processed only through bank transfer or verified UPI ID
  • cash refunds are not possible

No Cancellation After Shipment

Orders cannot be cancelled once dispatched from our facility.

Cancellation requests may only be considered before shipment confirmation.


Wrong Address & Failed Delivery Policy

Customers are responsible for providing accurate:

  • delivery address
  • mobile number
  • recipient details

If an order fails delivery due to:

  • incorrect address
  • unreachable customer
  • refusal to accept delivery
  • repeated failed delivery attempts

then:

  • reshipping charges may apply
  • original shipping costs may be deducted
  • refund requests may be partially adjusted after operational deductions

Van Rishi shall not be responsible for losses arising from incorrect customer information.


COD Abuse & Refused Deliveries

Repeated refusal of Cash on Delivery (COD) orders may result in:

  • restriction of future COD access
  • permanent refusal of service
  • mandatory prepaid ordering for future purchases

Van Rishi reserves the right to cancel suspicious or high-risk COD orders without prior notice.


Non-Returnable Situations

The following shall not qualify for refund, return, or replacement:

  • opened or consumed products
  • complaints without unboxing video
  • claims raised after unreasonable delay
  • minor packaging dents without product damage
  • natural texture changes
  • melted granules during summer
  • dissatisfaction based on taste or aroma
  • orders placed incorrectly by customer
  • discounted or promotional items where stated
  • refusal to accept shipment

Limitation of Liability

Van Rishi’s liability shall be limited strictly to the purchase value of the affected product.

Van Rishi shall not be liable for:

  • indirect damages
  • health claims
  • customer misuse
  • storage negligence
  • courier delays
  • environmental exposure after delivery
